Informativa sulla privacy

Resa ai sensi degli artt. 13 e 14 del Regolamento (UE) 2016/679 («GDPR»).

8. Diritti dell'interessato

12.3 GDPR.

9. Reclamo all'autorità di controllo

L'interessato che ritenga illegittimo il trattamento dei propri dati può proporre reclamo al Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it) o all'autorità di controllo dello Stato membro di residenza, ovvero ricorrere all'autorità giudiziaria.

10. Modifiche

Privacy policy

Provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

1. Data controller

The data controller is Avv. Matteo Verdi Bertoldi, Via della Scrofa 57 – 00186 Rome, Italy — VAT no. IT12181441002. For any question concerning personal data, write to [email protected] or to the certified address [email protected], or call +39 347 658 5785.

2. What data is collected

This is a static informational website: it contains no contact forms, requires no registration, and uses no analytics or profiling cookies. Processing is therefore limited to the following.

a) Browsing data (technical logs)

Like any website, the hosting infrastructure automatically records technical information: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, browser type and operating system. An IP address is personal data. This data is not used to identify visitors and is not combined with other information.

Requests pass through the Cloudflare network, which protects the site from attacks and delivers its content. Cloudflare processes the same technical data for these purposes only and may set technical security cookies (for example __cf_bm) solely when its protection measures are triggered; these are neither profiling nor analytics cookies.

b) Language preference (local storage)

The choice between Italian and English is saved in the browser's localStorage under a single key, mv-lang. It is not a cookie, it is never transmitted to any server, and it stays on the visitor's device, who can clear it at any time through browser settings. As a feature strictly necessary to deliver the requested service, it does not require consent.

c) Voluntary communications

If a visitor uses the contact details on the site to send an email or place a call, the data contained in that communication (name, email address, telephone number and message content) is processed in order to reply.

3. Fonts loaded from Google

These pages use the typefaces Cormorant Garamond and Work Sans, served by Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC). To download the fonts, the visitor's browser issues a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, transmitting its IP address to Google. Google Fonts sets no cookies. Google's privacy notice is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

4. Purposes and legal bases

PurposeDataLegal basis
Delivering and securing the site, diagnostics, abuse prevention Technical logs, IP address Legitimate interest of the controller — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR
Rendering the pages correctly (typefaces) IP address transmitted to Google Legitimate interest of the controller — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR
Remembering the chosen language mv-lang key in the browser Technically necessary for the service requested by the visitor
Replying to enquiries sent by email or telephone Contact details and message content Pre-contractual steps at the data subject's request — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR

5. Retention

6. Recipients

Data is neither disclosed publicly nor sold. It is accessed only by:

7. Transfers to third countries

The site is hosted on infrastructure located in the European Union, and the server's technical logs stay within it.

Only two kinds of processing may involve a transfer to the United States: requests passing through the network of Cloudflare, a US company, and the loading of the typefaces, which transmits nothing but the visitor's IP address to Google. Both rely on the safeguards set out in Articles 44 ff. GDPR — in particular the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 concerning the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, additionally, the standard contractual clauses adopted by the Commission.

8. Your rights

Visitors may exercise the rights granted by Articles 15-22 GDPR at any time:

Requests may be sent to [email protected] and will be answered within one month, extendable in the cases set out in Art. 12(3) GDPR.

9. Complaint to the supervisory authority

A data subject who considers the processing of their data unlawful may lodge a complaint with the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or with the supervisory authority of their Member State of residence, or bring proceedings before a court.

10. Changes

This notice may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to applicable law. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the page.
